Music is first and foremost, an emotional experience. Music makes us feel something. So why on earth is music so often taught in a dry and intellectual way? It simply makes no sense!

Yet, In many cases, traditional music teaching methods are slow, tedious and difficult to understand, with a steep learning curve that leads the student feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. Sadly, I have seen thousands of students subjected to these dysfunctional teaching styles get fed up and quit.
